Ingredient explanation ยท E955

Sucralose

Sucralose is a sweetener that adds sweetness without being listed as sugar on an ingredients list.

What it does

It gives a food or drink a sweet taste. That is its job in the recipe; it does not tell you the product's overall nutrition or processing level on its own.

The rule shown for sucralose comes from Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, Article 21 and/or Annex III as applicable: official EUR-Lex text (checked 24 October 2026).

FoodSussed processing Level
