Not a guru. Not a full-time coach. Just someone who got real results, started helping the people around him, and decided to make it official.
The honest version: I work for one of the biggest waste management companies in Ireland — and the one thing that place taught me is to never waste an opportunity. Full-time job, proper hours, real pressure. Two kids at home who make sure I never get too comfortable. It is a busy house. I would not have it any other way.
Like a lot of people, I spent years trying to figure out the health and fitness side of things in the gaps between everything else. The information out there is genuinely confusing — conflicting advice, overpriced supplements, coaches who talk in jargon but cannot explain the basics. I started learning properly, hired someone who knew what they were doing, and the results followed. But more importantly, I got curious. Really curious. I went deep on nutrition science, training methodology, peptide research — reading studies, testing things, understanding what the evidence actually says versus what gets sold.
What happened next was pretty organic. Mates at work started noticing changes and asking questions. Friends started coming to me for advice. People in my circle were getting real, tangible results from the conversations we were having — not because I had any magic protocol, but because I was giving them honest information and helping them think it through properly. For a while I just kept doing it informally, fitting it in around everything else.
Eventually enough people said the same thing: "You should make this official." So that is what No Nonsense Fitness is. Making the informal official. I am not going to claim I have coached hundreds of clients — I have not, and I think it is important to be straight about that. What I have done is help real people around me, consistently, over a decent stretch of time. People with jobs, families, and no interest in turning their life into a fitness project. People like me.
The core of this is pretty simple: I genuinely enjoy sharing what I know. Not selling it. Not dressing it up. Just helping people understand things clearly so they can make good decisions for themselves. It keeps you honest.
This is a passion project. I do it in the time I have — evenings, weekends, whenever I can carve out a few hours. That constraint is actually part of the authenticity. I am not trying to build an empire. I am trying to build something genuinely useful for people in Ireland who are tired of the noise and just want straight answers from someone who has put in the work.
