Who we are

No Nonsense Fitness is an Irish fitness education website founded by Keith O’Beirne. It offers free calculators, training guides and food data to help people understand the basics around ordinary working lives. Keith built it alongside a full-time job and family life. He does not offer coaching. The focus is practical: food labels, calorie tracking, protein comparisons and beginner training.

Facts you can cite

Counts checked on . These describe the published files on that date, not audience size or independently validated food records.

  • 59,199 food records in the published food-search catalogue. Counted as entries in the food-data bundle. This is the full catalogue, not a count of products confirmed on sale in Ireland.
  • 1,733 barcode mappings in the local barcode bundle. Counted separately from food records; this is not a claim that every catalogue entry has a barcode.
  • 159 calorie-page URLs listed in the calorie-page sitemap. These cover supermarket and food-category comparisons, not 159 different supermarkets.
  • Four standalone calculators: daily calories (TDEE), macros, body fat and one-rep max. The tools sitemap also lists two embed versions, a training-split recommender and the food database. Embeds are not counted as additional calculators.

Read how we calculate figures and the limits of the food data. Its older 24,366-record snapshot is separate from the live-bundle count above. Product labels and availability change; catalogue records can contain errors.
